Man, 32, Shot Dead In Camden: Prosecutor

Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man on Saturday night, Sept. 16 in Camden.

At 9:46 p.m., Camden County Police Department Officers received a ShotSpotter activation at the 400 block of North 7th Street, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay alongside Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez. 

Police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, they said.

The victim was later identified as Antwan Burdett of Camden City, they said.

He was transported to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 10:15 p.m.

The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
