Major Mall-Based Chain With Moorestown Store Closing 543 Locations After Filing For Bankruptcy
A major retailer primarily located in malls and headquartered in Pennsylvania is set to close all 543 of its stores following its third Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. Closures for all rue21 locations are expected to be completed within the next two months with going-out-of-business sales coming soon. The company, headquartered in Pennsylvania outside Pittsburgh, had first filed for bankruptcy in 2003, and then for a second time in 2017, when it closed around 400 stores. A 45-year-old Stafford man has been convicted for his role in an animal fighting ring in the DMV for five years, federal officials said. Mark Joseph Rodriguez, aka “Slow Poke,” and co-conspirators from the region used a messaging app that they called "The DMV Board" or "The Board" to discuss training fighting dogs, exchange videos about dogfighting, and arrange and coordinate dog fights, out of view of law enforcement, Jessica D. UPDATE: Police in Long Branch were justified in taking out a gunman who wounded a detective, started a fire and then came out shooting while trying to flee with an infant in his arms, a grand jury has found. Jersey Shore Native Among 3 Dead In Virginia Crash
Police released the names of three people who died on Sunday, May 29, in a head-on collision in Stafford that shut down a road for several hours. Tamarr Williams, 38, of Woodbridge, lost control of his 1995 Lexus and veered into oncoming traffic on Austin Ridge Drive around 7:30 p.m., the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office has released video footage of a deadly police shootout that left a gunman dead in Long Branch. Mark D. Walker, 34, of Woodbridge, Va. shot a detective in the leg before barricading himself inside the Chelsea Avenue apartment Nov. 5, Acting New Jersey Attorney General Andrew J. Bruck said.
