Crash Shuts Down Busy Road, Takes Out Utility Pole In South Jersey A crash in western Atlantic County took down a utility pole and closed a stretch of a busy road, officials said. Township of Hamilton police said Black Horse Pike was closed near the intersection with High Bank Road on Wednesday, Apr. 3, the department said in a Facebook post.  The crash was reported to the state Department of Transportation at around 2:51 p.m. The NJDOT also said a utility pole was knocked down during the crash. In New Jersey, the most amount of snow from the Friday, Jan. 19 storm appears to have fallen in Hopewell Township (Cumberland County) and Mount Royal (Gloucester County), where 6.5 inches of snow were reported. Atlantic County: Dorothy, a section of Weymouth, got 6.4 inches, the most amount of snow across Atlantic County. Six inches fell in Atlantic City, 5.6 in Mullica Township, 5.5 in Mays Landing, and on average, between 2 and 6 inches across the county.
