Update: State Trooper Thrown From Cruiser In Central Jersey Turnpike Crash With Dump Truck UPDATED: A New Jersey state trooper was hurt in a crash with a dump truck on the NJ Turnpike Monday morning, authorities said, who said he was thrown through the windshield. The crash occurred on the southbound side near milepost 70.7 in Cranbury around 7 a.m., State Police said. The State Troopers Fraternal Association of NJ later tweeted that the officer "is currently alert and conscious."
