A Harrison Township police car with a K-9 aboard was stolen prompting a "shelter in place" in another Gloucester County community, authorities said. On Facebook, West Deptford police said there was a suspect but no arrests had been made early Thursday, July 13. The patrol car theft occurred at about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, in Paulsboro. Camden County Residents 'Shelter-In-Place' For Death Investigation
Residents of a Camden County town were advised to "shelter-in-place" for a death investigation, according to developing reports and county officials. Police presence was to be expected near Myrtle Lane in Winslow Township "for a few hours," initial reports said at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
