UPDATE: Whoever defaced a sign with red paint at a Starbucks in Glen Rock was apparently mimicking similar attacks that have occurred throughout the U.S. and Canada since the Israel-Hamas war began last October, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. Ackermann also said that stickers bearing hateful messages against Israel that were found with the overnight vandalism on Feb. 19 apparently had been attached sometime before then. Authorities have identified a 66-year-old New Jersey man who was among three people killed in an avalanche in Washington State. Bergen County resident Yun Park, of Palisades Park, was confirmed as being among the dead in an update from the Chelan County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, Feb. 22. The Catholic Diocese of Camden has agreed to pay an unprecedented $87.5 million -- in cash – to 300 survivors of child sex abuse.
