A school bus overturned in a crash with a passenger car on the Garden State Parkway Tuesday, Nov. 14, leaving three students, a school aide, and the driver injured, New Jersey State Police said. The bus and a Lexus passenger car were heading south near milepost 69.1 when the vehicles collided around 3:10 p.m. in Barnegat, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. A school bus had a head-on crash with a Toyota Camry in Camden County, authorities said. Both drivers were hurt in the crash, Gloucester Township police said. Only one child was on the bus and was not hurt, they said. The child was uninjured but their mother transported them to local hospital for evaluation as a precaution, police said. Video Shows Lakewood School Bus Smash Parked Cars
A bus filled with Lakewood school children was captured on video plowing into two cars after careening into a moving vehicle on Central Avenue. Video published by The Lakewood Scoop captured the second part of the crash, where the bus hits the parked cars. The bus pushed one parked car out of its path on impact, and rams another car parked along Glen Avenue then came to a stop.
