Riverton Man Sentenced For Sexually Assaulting Children: Prosecutor A 50-year-old man from Burlington County has been sentenced to 21 years in New Jersey State Prison without parole for sexually assaulting children, authorities said. Ian Forrester, of Riverton, pleaded guilty last August to first-degree aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw. Forrester was sentenced on Feb. 26 in the Supreme Court in Mount Holly, the prosecutor said, adding he must serve the entire term before becoming eligible for release. Delran Family Lost 'Lifetime Of Possessions' In House Fire A family from Burlington County lost all of their possessions in a fire on Tuesday, Jan. 2, according to a GoFundMe campaign. The blaze originated in a basement of the Kohn family's home on the 100 block of Whitemarsh Way, Delran firefighters said.  The Kohns lost everything in the devastating blaze, and escaped with the clothes on their backs, said Erin Wharton of Riverton, who sponsored the GoFundMe. An investigation into Richard A. Smith Jr., of Williamstown, began in December 2021, after a Riverton resident told police that Smith, who owns Beyond Renovations LLC, took two payments for wok on an addition, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Riverton Police Chief John Shaw said.
