One person was fatally struck by an Atlantic City Rail Line bound for Philadelphia early Monday, April 1, authorities told Daily Voice. Train 4608 departed Atlantic City at 4:11 a.m. and was due at Philadelphia's 30th Street Station at 5:47 a.m., but hit and killed a pedestrian near the Delair Bridge around 5:40 a.m., NJ Transit officials said. Yet another lawsuit has been filed in the double-fatal Megabus crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Woodbridge in 2022, according to court records. A passenger on the Megabus that crashed killing two passengers and injuring 17 others, has filed a lawsuit against the bus company and its driver, Eric Naughton of Westville. Man Killed By Train In Trenton
A man was struck and killed by New Jersey Transit train Saturday afternoon in Trenton, authorities said. The River Line light rail train that left the Waterfront Entertainment Center in Camden at 1:44 p.m., struck the pedestrian at the S Broad Street crossing at 2:52 p.m., NJT spokesman Everett Merrill said. None of the 30 passengers nor the operator were injured. Service was suspended between Trenton and Bordentown with bus service provided as of 5 p.m. The victim was not identified and NJT police were investigating.

A Philadelphia man was arrested for raping a woman on a commuter train as other passengers did nothing, authorities said. Surveillance footage caught Fiston Ngoy, 35, was caught assaulting the woman on a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) train toward Upper Darby Wednesday night, local police said. A man was struck and killed by a train Thursday night in Elizabeth, responders said. Northeast Corridor train 3891 struck the man near W. Grand Street station around 10:45 p.m., NJ Transit spokesman Jim Smith said. Man Struck By Rockland-To-Hoboken Train
A man was hospitalized after he was struck by a commuter train Sunday night in Paterson. The Main Line #1732 train had left Suffern at 9:07 p.m. and was due to arrive in Hoboken at 10:19 p.m. when it struck the man just west of the Paterson train station shortly before 10 p.m., NJ Transit’s Lisa Torbic said. Responders said they got the victim out from under the train and took him to nearby St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. None of the 16 people were injured and service wasn’t affected, Torbic said.
