76ers Guard Struck By Car In Philadelphia Has Broken Rib, Hip Injury: Police Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre, Jr. was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle on Saturday, Nov. 11. City police say Oubre was crossing at the 1400 block of Spruce Street at Hick Street when a speeding vehicle tried turning onto Hick, hitting him in the chest with the driver's side mirror. The vehicle fled the location south on Hicks Street. Flames shot out of St. Leo's Church in Tacony as firefighters arrived around 5:15 p.m. More than 100 firefighters, medics and chiefs responded to the 2-alarm blaze at the vacant building, the Philadelphia Fire Department said.
