A South Jersey family is devastated by the loss of a father-of-four in a head-on crash.
Friday night, Dec. 29, Laurie Procopio-Willitts and her husband, Richard, were in the horrific car crash on Route 70, just 10 minutes from their home in Pemberton Township, according to a GoFundMe campaign launched by relatives for the family.
Just before 11:30 p.m., Diana Milelli, 49, of Marlton, was heading west on Route 70 when she crossed the center line and collided head-on with a pickup truck driven by Richard Willitts, 56, of Browns Mills, Pemberton Police Chief Jon Glass said.

Pickup Driver Killed, Motorist Seriously Injured In South Jersey Crash: Police
A pickup truck driver was killed and a second motorist was seriously hurt in a crash in Burlington County, authorities said.
The five-vehicle crash occurred at 6:48 a.m. Tuesday near the Route 70 intersection with Spring Lake Boulevard in Pemberton Township.
William Benner Jr., 28, of Browns Mills, who was driving a Chevy TrailBlazer, was killed in the crash, Pemberton police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Royston Tape, 51, from Brick Township was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic County with serious injuries.

Four men have been indicted on murder and other charges in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old man and the wounding of his father in a Walmart parking lot, authorities said.
A Burlington County grand jury returned a 14-count indictment that included charges against Tarik Jenkins, 25, of Pemberton Township; and Jayviyohn J. Earley, 19; Kweli L. McCants, 20; and Kayhree Simmons, 19, all of Willingboro, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.
