Tractor-Trailer Flips On New Jersey Turnpike
A tractor-trailer loaded with soil overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike in Burlington County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 2:20 p.m. Monday, March 18 southbound near Interchange 4 (Route 73) in Mount Laurel Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. There were no injuries, according to New Jersey State Police.

Two tractor-trailers collided after one suffered a blowout on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. Two crashes with injuries were reported on Interstate 295 in Mercer and Burlington counties, authorities said. The first crash occurred at about 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 on I-295 southbound south of Exit 75 (Bear Tavern Road) in Ewing Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Based on a preliminary investigation a vehicle traveling south lost directional control and ran off the roadway, according to State Police. No injuries were reported, police said. Mercer County Man, 62, Killed In Multi-Vehicle Collision On I-295: State Police
A 62-year-old man from Mercer County was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 295 in Burlington County, authorities said. One of the drivers, Dennis Cox, 62, of Hamilton Square was ejected and fatally injured, they said. Police ID Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Burlington County
A 57-year-old pedestrian from Trenton was struck and killed in Burlington County, authorities said. The crash temporarily shut down Route 38 eastbound at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 in Mount Laurel Township, police said. Alfonsie Hollands was pronounced dead in the roadway near Interstate 295, police said. The driver remained at the crash scene and had not been charged, police said.

There was a crash with injuries on Interstate 295 southbound, authorities said. The crash occurred at 1:51 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 on the I-295 southbound ramp to southbound Exit 36 in Mount Laurel Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation website. 11-Year-Old Boy Burned When Gas Can Explodes At South Jersey Bonfire: Report
An 11-year-old boy was severely burned when he poured gasoline on a backyard bonfire, NJ Advance Media reported. EMS crews responded to 198 Ramblewood Parkway in Mount Laurel Township at 6:15 p.m. after neighbors reported an explosion, initial reports said. As the child poured gas on the fire, flames traveled to the gas can, which exploded while the boy was holding it, the outlet reports citing Mount Laurel police. Car Flips In South Jersey, 2 People Airlifted To Hospital
A car flipped over onto its roof, trapping two people in South Jersey, authorities said. The crash was reported Tuesday afternoon at South Church Street and Gaither Driver in Mount Laurel Township, reports said. Two people were trapped and had to be extricated by firefighters and EMS crews, initial reports said. Police closed Church Street and a medevac helicopter was en route.
