Manalapan police responded to the fire at a home on Paddington Court at around 7:38 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 19, a department spokesperson said. Flames and smoke were reportedly coming from the house's laundry room. Firefighters from Gordons Corner, Englishtown, Freehold, and Marlboro were able to put out the fire. No injuries were reported. Fatal Crash Reported On Jersey Shore: Police A motorist was killed in a crash on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The crash occurred about 6:30 a.m. on Route 18 southbound in Marlboro Township, police said. Route 18 South in the area of Tennent Road and Route 520 was shut down until about 10 a.m., according to Capt. Stephen Levy, a police department spokesman. The vehicle, a 2008 grey Honda Accord,  left the roadway and struck a large tree, Levy said. Dogs Missing, Police Officer Hurt From Monmouth House Fire Two dogs remain missing from a home that suffered a serious fire on Thursday, authorities said. Police and fire officials have been unable to locate the family dogs -- either dead or alive. At 11:05 a.m., Marlboro Township Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from the homeowner at 33 Regina Road in the Morganville section of Marlboro, according to Capt. Stephen J.
