DUI Driver Sentenced In Fatal Crash That Killed Teenager In Pemberton A 55-year-old somen from South Jersey has been sentenced to eight years in New Jersey State Prison in connection with a fatal DUI crash that killed a teenage driver, authorities said. Wanda Sprague of Pemberton Township had been drinking att a Browns Mills bar before the 2021 collision, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw. Sprague was driving without headlights and over 90 mph at the time of the fatal head-on crash, Bradshaw said. Woman Admits DWI In Fatal South Jersey Crash, Killing Teenager: Prosecutor A 35-year-old Pemberton Township woman has admitted driving while impaired in a crash that killed a teenage driver, authorities said. The head-on collision occurred after drinking at a Browns Mill bar, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw. Wanda Sprague pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in exchange for a term of eight years in New Jersey state prison, Bradshaw said.  Sentencing is set for Nov. 16. Police ID Driver, 31, Killed In Burlington County Who Apparently Was Not Wearing Seatbelt Authorities have released the name of a driver killed when his car crashed into a tree on Saturday in Burlington County. Donte Boyer II, 31, of Browns Mills, died after he lost control of his car while traveling west on Lakehurst Road, also known as County Route 530, according to Pemberton Township police. Boyer's 2004 Buick Rendezvous reportedly struck a tree near 420 Lakehurst Road and Ridgeview Avenue around 8:30 p.m., police said. Authorities: Pemberton Couple Found With Homemade Pipe Bombs A Pemberton Township man and his girlfriend have been arrested for possessing explosives, authorities said. Acting on a tip, pipe bombs were found in a home and in one of the suspect's vehicles, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said in a statement. William Heath, 47, and Ashley Sprague, 32, of Lakehurst Road were charged with possession of explosives for an unlawful purpose and possession of prohibited weapons and devices, Coffina said.
