Pleasantville Woman Sentenced In Stabbing Death A 33-year-old woman from Pleasantville was sentenced to a 13-and-a-half-year term in New Jersey State Prison in connection with a fatal stabbing, authorities said. Rollie Ellis was sentenced on Thursday, Aug. 24 for aggravated manslaughter, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. An earlier, 20-year term of imprisonment was overturned on appeal when the appellate court ruled her Miranda rights were violated, the prosecutor said. Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man they say pulled a knife on a manager who confronted him for shoplifting from a Family Dollar store in Ewing. Atlantic City Shopkeeper, 66, Dies During Armed Robbery By 12-Year-Old Boy A 66-year-old businessman from Atlantic City collapsed and died when his store was robbed at knifepoint, authorities said.  Mahmood Ansari was robbed at his store by two youths on Thursday night, according to Atlantic City Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner.
