Armed Man Arrested After Foot Chase In Atlantic City: Police An armed man was arrested by Atlantic City police after a foot chase, authorities said. On Sunday, July 2, at 9:30 p.m., Detective Christopher Dodson received information regarding a man in the beach block of California Avenue that was in possession of a handgun. Dodson, along with Detectives Aaron Jones and Eric Evans, and Officer Brandon Bower, located Quadry Wise, police said. As detectives approached to investigate, Wise began to run, police said. As he attempted to jump a fence, he was apprehended and taken into custody without further incident.  A handgun was in Wise’s pants. …

Guns Recovered, Man Arrested After Atlantic City Foot Chase A 26-year-old man from Cumberland County was arrested with two handguns in Atlantic City, authorities said. At 3:55 a.m. on Monday, July 18, Atlantic City Police Officers William Harned and Adrianna Petinga were on assignment in the 3000 block of the boardwalk assisting with a large crowd when they observed a man drop what the officers believed to be a handgun.  Officers then observed the man attempt to retrieve the handgun at which time they gave him verbal commands to not pick up the weapon.  The man, Marquise Milledge, refused the officers’ commands, picked up the handgun, and…

Timothy Gandy of Brick was charged with obstruction, possession of heroin, manufacturingdistributing heroin, possession of paraphernalia and receiving stolen property, Brick police said on Thursday.
