Dogs Saved From Suspected Jersey Shore Fighting Ring Need Foster Families Temporary homes are needed for eight dogs rescued from a suspected dogfighting ring in Monmouth County, officials said. The Monmouth County SPCA gave an update on Tuesday, Feb. 13 on the dogs, which were recovered from a home on Embury Avenue in Neptune Township on Saturday, Feb. 3. Six dogs were found in dirty crates inside of a garage and two were found on heavy chains tied to dog houses. According to the Monmouth County SPCA, Neptune Township police responded to a call about animals in distress at a home on Embury Avenue on Saturday, Feb. 3.
