Modern Indian Restaurant Replacing 35-Year-Old Jersey Shore Trattoria
A modern Indian restaurant is coming to the Jersey Shore. Saffron will hold a grand opening on W. Front Street in Red Bank, at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15. Saffron is replacing Front Street Trattoria, which closed in 2020 after 35 years in business. The newly renovated 1,700 square-foot space boasts more than 70 seats, and "will showcase the luxury of old-world Indian Royalty," according to its co-owners, Amrita Jogi and Manish Kumar.
