Classic Car Stolen From South Jersey Home Garage, State Police Searching State police are asking for help finding a classic car stolen in Cape May County, authorities said. Troopers said a blue 1966 Mercury Comet was stolen from a garage at a house on Fidler Road in Dennis Township. State police announced the theft investigation in a Facebook post on Thursday, Apr. 4. Investigators determined the vintage car was taken between 11 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 15, and 6 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 16. Anyone who recognizes the car or has information about the theft should call New Jersey State Police Troop A in Woodbine at 609-861-5698.

The crash occurred at 7:33 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 on Route 47 (North Delsea Drive) near milepost 16.8 in Dennis Township, New Jersey State Police said. Melissa DeJesus, of Vineland, was driving north on the highway when she traveled off the road, struck a tree, and overturned, according to Sgt. Philip Curry, a state police spokesman.
