A Pennsylvania State University student from New Jersey admitted to sexually assaulting his peer, despite allegedly having no recollection of the incident, WJAC reports. Jacob Tillman, 20, West Orange, New Jersey released the following statement: "I want to acknowledge that I raped her, even though I don't remember the act of doing it, because it this point, there is no doubt in my mind that it happened, from everything I remember and from everything she said." South Jersey Man, 29, Faces 12 Years Prison For Sexual Assault In Burlington Alley
A Burlington County man has admitted to sexually assaulting a woman in a Burlington City alley in late 2019 in exchange for a 12-year sentence in New Jersey state prison, authorities said. John Lewis, 29, of Browns Mills, entered a guilty plea to first-degree aggravated sexual assault on Jan. 27, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina. Under his plea agreement, Lewis must serve 85 percent of the sentence before becoming eligible for parole. A 23-year-old woman from Pleasantville woman was convicted of theft charges on Thursday afternoon during the first jury trial to begin in New Jersey since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, authorities said. A jury returned a guilty verdict against Tianna D. Williams on counts of uttering falsely made documents and theft by deception, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said. On Feb. 15, 2019, Williams passed a fraudulent check for about $5,880 at the Uptown Check Cashing in Atlantic City, Tyner said.
