Driver, 31, Killed In Burlington County Crash With Freightliner A 31-year-old driver was killed and another seriously hurt in a crash on I-295 overnight. Stanley Altidor, 31, of Florence Township, was operating a Chevrolet Equinox behind a Freightliner when he struck the back of the truck near milepost 46.6 around 3:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes in Burlington Township, New Jersey State Police said. Altidor was taken to Virtua Mount Holly Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, NJSP Sgt. Teen Bicyclist Critically Hurt In South Jersey A 14-year-old bicyclist from Pleasantville was critically hurt in a collision with a vehicle, authorities said. The crash occurred on Saturday, Nov. 5 at about 6 p.m. on Ocean Heights Avenue at a bike path, Somers Point police said. The youth was taken to Atlanticare Trauma Center and then airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center. The vehicle was driven by Tia Coppin, 25, of Atlantic City, police said. Police said speed was not a factor in the collision, and no summonses had been issued.

Details Released In Crash That Killed Sunset Watcher In Cape May A driver apparently suffered from a medical episode before striking and killing a 75-year-old woman on a bench in Cape May County, authorities said. On Sunday, May 29, at 7:38 p.m., Lower Township police responded to a motor vehicle crash near Lincoln Boulevard and Beach Drive.  Police found a 2015 Hyundai Elantra had struck another vehicle and then a pedestrian seated on a bench before coming to rest in the Delaware Bay, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland alongside Chief Kevin Lewis of the Lower Township Police Department.
