Sports Cameraman Killed In Cape May Boating Accident: 'Great Man, Better Friend'
The 45-year-old boater killed this week in Cape May Harbor is being mourned by those who knew him. Christopher W. Heitman, a longtime camera operator for various news networks, was operating a 17-foot Sea Hunt struck a pipe that broke free from its mooring and entered the channel around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, New Jersey State Police said. Heitman and passenger were ejected, police said. While the passenger was able to get back on the boat, Heitman was not. His body was later recovered. A self-proclaimed South Jersey “influencer” who live-streamed his arrest by federal authorities was charged with running one of the largest-ever illegal TV pirating rings. A suspected tornado ripped through a Jersey Shore town Thursday night, damaging 35 homes, several boats and injuring several people, police said. DA: Pennsylvania Man Busted With 7,000 Child Porn Images, Most Sex Abuse Of Babies, Toddlers
A 63-year-old Pennsylvania man was busted with more than 7,000 child porn images -- most of which depicted toddlers and babies being sexually abused, authorities said Tuesday. The Montgomery County Detective Bureau received 25 cybertips from Google routed through the Delaware County ICAC Task Force concerning an account that contained more than 500 images of child sexual assault imagery depicting children in sexual acts and in sexual poses, District Attorney Kevin R.
