Firefighters Battle Massive Church Blaze In Florence A fire ravaged a Florence Township church on Monday evening, March 20, and burned into the following morning. Firefighters worked to put out the 8-alarm blaze at the Fountain of Life Center, on the 2000 block of Columbus Road. Fire officials tell 6abc that kids playing basketball behind the church noticed smoke on Monday evening.
