NJ Inmate Beaten Dead 'Always Took Care Of His Family,' Relative Says Relatives of Martin Sanchez, a 41-year-old inmate and Newark native who was beaten to death in a New Jersey State Prison, called him a family man. Fugitive Nabbed In South Jersey Fatal Double-Shooting A fugitive in a fatal shooting has been captured by authorities, they said. Derrell Martin located and arrested on Friday, authorities said. Martin was charged on Oct. 14 on the charges of murder, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and weapons offenses, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. Authorities Identify South Jersey Girl, 10, Killed In Drive-By Shooting The 10-year-old girl who was shot and killed in a drive-by-shooting on the Fourth of July has been identified by authorities in South Jersey. She reportedly was visiting her grandmother's home in Vineland when the fatal shooting occurred.  The girl fatally shot on Sunday was Jasayde Holder, the Cumberland County prosecutor said. Jasayde had just completed 4th grade at Dane Barse School in Vineland, according to Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.  She was described by her family as creative. She loved music and riding her bike.
