Pennsylvania Man Tries To Carjack Vehicle In South Jersey A 23-year-old man from Pennsylvania was arrested after an attempted carjacking in Cherry Hill, authorities said. Paul Adams of Darby, PA, was charged with carjacking and robbery, Cherry Hill police said. Adams allegedly approached a car stopped in traffic at about 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 10 and yelled at the driver to get out, police said. The driver pulled away as Adams tried to open the door and yank the man out of his car, police said. The driver flagged down a police officer. School Police Officer Struck By Car While Directing Traffic Near Cherry Hill HS East A Cherry Hill High School East campus police officer was hit by a car while directing traffic on Friday, Jan. 12, a school district spokeswoman said. The crash occurred at about 7:15 a.m. in the 1700 block of Kresson Road, 6abc reported. A photo from the scene shows the front windshield of a Hyundai sedan heavily damaged.  The resource officer was apparently seriously injured, 6abc says.
