One Dead, 25 Displaced In Burlington Senior Living Fire
A fire that evacuated a senior housing complex left one person dead and about 25 displaced over the weekend, authorities in Burlington County said. A heavy smoke condition on the third floor of the J. Frank Budd Building on East Pearl Street brought officials from Burlington City to the scene around 11:35 Saturday, Oct. 15. A 70-year-old robbery suspect has been arrested in South Jersey, authorities said. Michael Swift, of Burlington City, has been charged with second-degree robbery, Evesham police said. On Nov. 15, 2021 at 4:58 p.m., Evesham police responded to Rite-Aid at 235 North Maple Ave, for a report of a robbery. A South Jersey man is facing an attempted murder charge after stabbing another man in the neck early Sunday morning, authorities said Monday. A 33-year-old security guard whose K9 officer bit a man outside of a New Jersey restaurant has been charged with aggravated assault, authorities said. Steven T. A woman and three men from Camden County have been arrested in connection with multiple fires as an abandoned iron foundry, authorities said.
