Crash Shuts Down Busy Road, Takes Out Utility Pole In South Jersey A crash in western Atlantic County took down a utility pole and closed a stretch of a busy road, officials said. Township of Hamilton police said Black Horse Pike was closed near the intersection with High Bank Road on Wednesday, Apr. 3, the department said in a Facebook post.  The crash was reported to the state Department of Transportation at around 2:51 p.m. The NJDOT also said a utility pole was knocked down during the crash. 22-Year-Old Mount Holly Driver Killed In Crash, Others Hurt: Police A Burlington County woman was killed when a car crashed into her SUV in Hamilton Township, authorities said. Troopers responded to the crash on Black Horse Pike near the Penny Pot community at around 12:26 a.m. on Thursday, Mar. 28, a state police spokesperson said. A Ford SUV and a Toyota car were driving west on the road around milepost 37.2. Investigators said the Toyota crashed into the rear of the Ford, causing the Ford to go off the road.
