A fugitive whom sources described as an emotionally disturbed boyfriend was being sought by authorities for shooting a 20-year-old Bergenfield woman several times this past weekend. Aaron Sierra, 22, whose last known whereabouts were in upstate New York, “should be considered armed and dangerous,” Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said in seeking the public’s help finding him Thursday night, May 25. : Two Cats, Dog Killed In Bergenfield House Fire
Two cats and a dog died in a pre-Christmas fire that severely damaged a Bergenfield home. Firefighters who responded within three minutes were met by flames on the first floor of the 2½-story Lunn Avenue home shortly after 1 p.m., Bergenfield Fire Chief Edward J Kneisler III said. "Because the fire was extending to the upper floors, a second alarm was requested," the chief said. Kneisler declared the fire under control in about 45 minutes. Authorities: Teaneck Man Attacks, Injures 3 Bergenfield Officers After Fleeing Hospital
Three Bergenfield police officers had to be treated for various injuries following an unprovoked attack by a Teaneck man who’d become the subject of a search after he walked out of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, authorities said. Officer Shane Churaman, hearing an alert shortly after midnight, stopped a sedan with Pennsylvania license plates being driven by 26-year-old Patrick S.
