Motorcyclist, 50, Killed After Striking Tree In South Jersey: State Police A 50-year-old motorcyclist from Ocean County was killed in a crash in Burlington County, authorities said. New Jersey State Troopers responded to the crash at 7:36 p.m. Sunday, June 25 on Route 653 eastbound at milepost 0.5 in Bass River, they said. Christopher Golden, of Tuckerton, was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle which ran off the roadway to the left and struck a tree, a State Police spokesman said. As a result of the crash, Golden was ejected and sustained fatal injuries.  The crash remains under investigation.

Drug Dealer Charged In Fatal Fentanyl Overdose, Burlington Prosecutor Says A 35-year-old woman from Burlington County has been arrested in connection with a drug customer's fatal overdoes on fentanyl, authorities said.  Dolores Cespedes was charged with strict liability for drug-induced death and several drug dealing and possession charges, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and New Jersey State Police Commander Pat Callahan. Lawnmower Rolls On Top Of Worker Cutting Grass On Garden State Parkway In Burlington County A worker cutting grass along the Garden State Parkway was flown to the hospital after a lawnmower rolled down an embankment and landed on top of him in Burlington County Monday morning, authorities said.  The New Jersey Turnpike Authority worker lost control of the commercial-grade lawnmower he was riding near milepost 55.9 around 8:40 a.m. in Bass River, State Police said. He was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus in Atlantic City, a NJSP spokesperson said. The incident remains under investigation.
