South Jersey Man, 62, Killed Striking Utility Pole, Flipping

A 62-year-old driver died after striking a utility pole and overturning in Gloucester County, authorities said.

05/03/2023 3:19 p.m.

The man from Glassboro was driving a Toyota Camry westbound on the 200 block of East High Street/Route 322 when he lost control at 4:06 p.m. on Monday, May 1, Glassboro police said.

The car ran off the roadway to the right, struck the utility pole and overturned, police said.

The driver was pronounced dead after being flown to Cooper Hospital.
