The truck's driver, another motorist and the homeowner all suffered minor injuries, police said.

The collision occurred at about 7:40 a.m. Monday in Egg Harbor City.

The 80-year-old resident and the truck’s driver both suffered minor injuries, according to police.

Rogelio Serrano was driving the truck for J. Domenico & Son Excavating out of Hammonton. His truck struck another vehicle traveling west on White Horse Pike near Bremen Avenue, police said.

The impact forced 31-year-old Christopher Purks’ vehicle off the roadway, according police. He was not injured.

The truck driven by Serrano, 69, of Vineland, jumped the curb, crossed through a field and struck some trees before smashing into the home at 1500 White Horse Pike.

The home's owner, Richard Beck, 80, was sitting on the first floor when the crash occurred, police said.

Serrano and Beck were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
