Driver Thrown From Jeep, Hospitalized In Mercer County Turnpike Crash: State Police

A driver was thrown from a Jeep and hospitalized following a Wednesday late-night crash on the NJ Turnpike in Mercer County, state police said.

The driver lost control and collided with an SUV in the south inner lanes near milepost 57.1 in Hamilton around 12:40 a.m., NJSP Trooper Brandi Slota told DailyVoice.com.

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, Slota said.

The investigation was ongoing, and additional details were not released.
