Fire Victim Severely Burned, Airlifted In South Jersey: Police

A woman had to be airlifted to an area hospital after being severely burned in a fire, authorities said.

The fire was reported at about 8 a.m. at the Gatehouse Apartments on Woodlane Road, Edgewater Park police said.

An older woman had to be taken by medical helicopter to Temple University Burn Unit, police said.

Her name had not been released.
