Pennsylvania state Rep. Mike Reese died of an apparent brain aneurysm Saturday after having tested positive for COVID-19 at 42 years old, the House GOP leader said. He died peacefully with his family by his side Saturday afternoon at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, a release posted to his Facebook page says. Reese on Dec. 7 announced he tested positive for COVID-19 and had been quarantining. A fugitive who apparently didn’t know that the reopening of beaches in Jacksonville, Florida amid the coronavirus pandemic doesn’t include sitting around turned out to be wanted on homicide charges out of Pennsylvania, authorities said. A three-month manhunt ended Sunday with the arrest of Mario Matthew Gatti, 30. At least five people died and nearly 60 were injured in a Pennsylvania Turnpike crash involving a tour bus owned by a Rockaway company, authorities said.
