Aldi Opening In Wayne Grocery shoppers in Wayne will have another place to peruse the aisles. Aldi, a German supermarket chain, will be opening at the Plaza Square Shopping Center at 625 Hamburg Turnpike in the township, according to Regency Centers, which owns the shopping center.  The store will be 42,816 square feet, according to Regency Centers. An opening date has not been announced. Tenants at Plaza Square include a Wendy's and a T-Mobile. Aldi's has 61 locations in the Garden State, according to its website.

Guilty: Sussex County T-Mobile Worker Stole More Than $11K In Electronics, Prosecutor Says A former Sussex County T-Mobile store worker admitted in court Tuesday to stealing more than $11,000 in devices, authorities said. Tre M. Jenkins, of Stanhope, pleaded guilty to theft at the Sussex County Virtual Courtroom in Newton, Prosecutor Francis A. Koch said. Jenkins stole numerous iPhones, Air Pods, Samsung Galaxy phones, and Apple watches totaling more than $11,000 while working at Woodbury Wireless in Newton, Koch said. The store has since closed its doors permanently, according to its business and Google Maps pages. Jenkins is scheduled to be sentenced on Friday, April 8.

Thieves Take iPhones, Watches Worth Thousands From Bayonne Store Police are looking for three people who stole thousands in merchandise from a T-Mobile store in Bayonne Monday afternoon.  The three male suspects entered the store at 201 Bayonne Crossings Way around 12:45 p.m. and began browsing. Police said that according to employees, the three suddenly grabbed iPhones and Apple watches from their displays and fled.  About $3,500 in merchandise was taken, police said.  The theft remains under investigation.  .
