Young Firebug Charged With Arson At Two Bergen Schools
A middle school student set arson fires three weeks apart in River Edge and Oradell, authorities charged. The first began in a garbage receptacle at the Roosevelt Elementary School on Summit Avenue in River Edge shortly after 9:30 p.m. on June 20 and was out by the time firefighters arrived, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Friday. Every morning, Jenn Polizzano-Demaria of Hawthorne wakes up and hopes for answers. Formerly the director of operations for Mr. Cupcakes, Demaria applied for unemployment benefits with the state's labor department late last month. The payments went to some 556,000 residents -- a 560% increase …

The GMC Yukon first hit a parked vehicle a few blocks away and then a utility pole on Hutchinson Avenue -- tearing the bumper off completely -- before coming to rest in front of the home. The site is bar…

: OBJ Wins Over Bergen County Jets Fan With Pre-Game Catch
A video of New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. playing catch with a 3-year-old Jets fan from Bergen County is making its way around the world. Cole Perrapato and his Washington Township family were on the field at MetLife Stadium during warm-ups before Friday night's 22-16 Giants pre-season win. Cole began dancing near the end zone when his father, Matthew, noticed Beckham waving at the toddler. OBJ threw the ball from 10 feet away, but Cole dropped and then tripped over it. Beckham ran over, lifted him up and tried again. The crowd went wild. "I was always lukewarm tow…
