Man Charged After Threatening Others With BB Handgun At Morris County Hotel: Police A 19-year-old man was slapped with several charges after he allegedly threatened others with a BB handgun at a Morris County hotel. Aidan Harrington, of Summit, was found with the weapon as officers responded to the threat report at the Red Carpet Inn on Friday, March 11, Hanover Police said. Harrington was charged with threatening to commit aggravated assault, possession of a firearm with a purpose to use unlawfully, and other weapons offenses, police said. He was being held in Morris County Jail pending an initial court appearance.

Assailant At Large In Route 46 Hotel Stabbing Authorities were hunting for the assailant who stabbed a man Sunday at an Elmwood Park hotel. Witnesses reported seeing the bleeding victim outside the Red Carpet Inn on eastbound Route 46 around 3:30 p.m.Detectives were interviewing them and the victim, whose injuries didn't initially appear life-threatening, responders said. The investigators also reviewed surveillance video, they said.
