Accused Hackensack Arsonist Caught Breaking Into New Milford Library: Police A 26-year-old man recently accused of arson was arrested after he broke into the New Milford Library on Monday, Oct. 28, authorities said. At 11:19 pm, officers were dispatched to the New Milford Public Library on a report of a activated burglar alarm, New Milford police said. Upon arriving on scene, officers observed a broken rear window to the building with shattered glass inside and out, police said.
