Drill Instructor Charged In NJ Marine Recruit Dalton Beals's Death
A senior Parris Island drill instructor has been charged in last year's death of a New Jersey Marine recruit. Staff Sgt. Steven Smiley was charged with negligent homicide, cruelty, oppression and more in the death of 19-year-old Pennsville native Pfc. Dalton Beals, a spokesman for the Marines tells the New York Times. NJ Husband Surrenders In Crash That Killed Wife, Passenger In CT: Police
A New Jersey man has been charged in connection with a double-fatal Connecticut crash that killed his wife and another passenger last summer in Connecticut, authorities said. Juan Fernandez, 38, of Union City, surrendered to police on Wednesday, Aug. 17, and was charged with two counts of negligent homicide, among other charges in connection with the crash on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021, in Middlesex County, on Route 15 in Woodbridge. Soldier Charged In Crash That Killed Army Cadet From West Orange: Report
A soldier was charged in connection with the crash that killed a West Point cadet from West Orange earlier this year, Army Times reported Wednesday.
