Pedestrian Struck By Train, Service Delayed On Bergen County Line: NJ Transit A pedestrian was struck by a train Wednesday morning, May 1, briefly suspending service to the Main-Bergen County Rail Line, NJ Transit said. The pedestrian was struck and injured just west of the Plauderville Station in Garfield just after 5:30 a.m., a spokesperson for NJ Transit said. The extent of the pedestrian's injuries were unknown as of press time. Bergen County Line rail service is suspended in both directions due to a pedestrian strike near Plauderville.
