An identity thief left a car containing a loaded gun, $71,000 in cash and more illegally parked outside a Cliffside Park bank as he unsuccessfully tried to cash a bogus check inside, said police who arrested him when he emerged. Viva Margarita Replacing Hackensack Sports Bar
Viva Margarita is opening a fourth location. The popular Bergen County Mexican restaurant chain will open an outpost on Main Street in Hackensack, BoozyBurbs reports. The restaurant will replace sports bar Cheers, at 774 Main St. Viva Margarita has locations in Wallington and Edgewater, and last summer relocated its Cliffside Park restaurant to Anderson Avenue. The Lawton Avenue spot in Cliffside Park is open for to-go orders. The Hackensack location is expected to open in late July or early August.

Viva Margarita's new Cliffside Park location is days away from opening, an employee told Daily Voice. The authentic Mexican restaurant on Lawton Avenue is expected to be relocating to 79 Anderson Ave., by the end of the summer. The restaurant has two other locations in Wallington and Edgewater. Cliffside Park detectives were closing in when a borough man surrendered Friday in connection with a hit-and-run crash that sent a 16-year-old girl to the hospital earlier in the week.
