: Civilians, Police Unite To Rescue Struck Teen Pinned Beneath Car
Civilians teamed up with police to rescue a teenage girl who was struck and pinned beneath a vehicle Tuesday in North Bergen's Racetrack neighborhood, witnesses said. The victim, believed to be 15, was struck near a bus stop at the corner of Palisade Plaza and Woodcliff Avenue outside James J. Braddock Park shortly before 4:30 p.m. May 14, they said. Citizens with floor jacks assisted township police in lifting the vehicle and getting her out. An ambulance took her to the trauma center at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Unruly, Defiant Groups At Overcrowded Hudson Park Force Authorities To Close Access Roads
Rowdy crowds who ignored social-distancing directives while cursing sheriff's officers forced authorities to close roads Saturday into one of North Jersey’s larger public parks – and threaten to do it again if the situation doesn’t improve. 36th Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Covers 750 Miles, Benefits Special Olympics NJ
More than 3,000 law enforcement officers and supporters took to the streets of the Garden State on Friday, among dozens of groups each carrying a "Flame of Hope" to the Special Olympics New Jersey Summer Games. The first of 26 separate legs launching the 36th annual Law Enforcement Torch Run began at 6 a.m. Highpoint State Park on Route 23 in Sussex.
