Melissa Grosman has found herself thrust into the role of military spouse. The Teaneck resident's husband, Gill, is serving in the Israeli Defense Forces, following the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas. A 19-year-old man from Bergen County is among the Americans reported missing in Israel among the Hamas attacks, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy said. Edan Alexander, a graduate of Tenafly High School, was serving in the Israeli Defense Forces' Golani Brigade near the Gaza Strip and has not been heard from since the attacks on Saturday, Oct. 7, Murphy said at a vigil in Hoboken on Tuesday, Oct. 10.
