Severely Injured Hiker Rescued In Fall From Palisades Cliff A bicyclist was rescued after falling from a cliff on the Palisades and severely injuring his ankle. Temperatures had broken 90 degrees, the 31-year-old victim from Queens told police, when he stopped to get a drink of water on Henry Hudson Drive in Tenafly shortly before 2:30 p.m. Friday, Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Sgt. First Class Raymond Walter said. "While doing so he lost his footing and fell," Walter said. New Milford PD: Medical Episode Causes 5-Vehicle Chain-Reaction Crash Near River Edge Five vehicles in all were heavily damaged in a chain-reaction crash after a driver suffered a medical episode on a busy New Milford road. The 32-year-old Honda driver from Beverly, MA was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center following the crash on New Bridge Road shortly before 4:30 p.m., Detective Lt. Kevin Van Saders said.
