Supply And Demand 2: 1,000 Heroin Folds Seized In Paterson, Three Dealers, Three Buyers Busted
Continuing a “supply and demand” disruption strategy, Paterson detectives busted three dealers and three middle-aged buyers while seizing more than 1,000 heroin folds, authorities said.
Surveillance of the notorious corner at Rosa Parks Boulevard and Fair Street led to the arrests of Tameer Jones, 35, of Paterson and Crystal Kim, 33, of Little Ferry on dealing charges, among other offenses, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.
Detectives seized 568 heroin folds, nine bags of crack and $455 in proceeds, Speziale said.

A Jersey Shore couple was jailed in connection with an overdose heroin/fentanyl death of a 16-year-old boy last month, authorities said.
David Belk, 45, and Stephanie O’Neill, 44, both of Little Egg Harbor, have been charged with strict liability, endangering the welfare of a child, and drug related charges, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Captain James Hawkins said.
Belk and O’Neill supplied heroin and fentanyl to the 16-year-old boy, who was found unresponsive on the floor of an East Susquehanna Driver on July 3, authorities said.

Three people are facing charges after being caught spray painting a mural and words onto traffic boxes in Newark, authorities said.
Police saw Alexa Lipke, 25, of Green Brook, writing graffiti on traffic light boxes at Broad and Franklin streets near City Hall on June 28, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said. She was arrested on graffiti and drug-related charges.

An undercover operation led to a raid on a Paterson sports bar and the arrests of eight people on a whopping 32 combined charges, authorities said.
Working together, investigators from the city’s vice and narcotics unit infiltrated the Terrace Inn on Totowa Avenue, seizing 10 bags of cocaine and few hundred dollars in alleged proceeds, Police Director Jerry Speziale said.

A man arrested by Wayne police had a silver spoon in his pocket and fresh track marks on his arm – in addition to 34 bags of heroin, authorities said.
Officers Adrian Sulejmani and Tomasz Cydzik approached 38-year-old Michael D. Torrence, 38, of Hamburg, after seeing him alternately fall out, then wake up while smoking a cigarette, Detective Capt. Laurence Martin said.
Torrence, who didn’t respond to the officers, had constricted pupils, Martin said.

A Dumont driver with a history of trying to elude police slammed his car head-on into one Cresskill cruiser, then rammed another Friday afternoon after refusing to stop for a traffic violation, authorities said.
