Two Men Assaulted With Knife During Group Fight In Morris County
Two men were taken to the hospital after a group fight led to a knife attack in Morris County over the weekend, authorities say. Officers responded to the area of East Blackwell Street near Mercer Street in Dover just before 1:20 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, according to police. They found several men involved in an altercation, during which two of the men were assaulted with a knife, they said. The two men were taken to Morristown Medical Center for treatment. A hitchhiker allegedly brutally attacked a 54-year-old man who offered him a ride in North Jersey earlier this week, according to his family and recent news reports. "Catch coronavirus and die," is what a drunk Morris County man told police taking him into custody after they found him knocking on doors in a hospital mask and gloves, authorities charged. Jonathan Cabrejos, 24, of Mount Arlington, was stopped by police when police spotted him knocking on doors in Wharton near the Dover border Sunday around 11 p.m., Wharton police wrote in a Facebook post.
