A year behind bars apparently made little difference to a convicted “compulsive and repetitive” cyber-stalker from Old Tappan who went after his victim yet again after being released, said authorities who seized him once more on Wednesday. 3 Ridgewood Residents Cyber-Harassed In 24 Hours, Arrest Made In One
In a series of attacks that Ridgewood police said were unrelated, three village residents in roughly 24 hours reported being cyber-harassed, leading in one instance to the arrest of an Orange County man. Jacob Goodman, 19, was arrested after he hacked into a 19-year-old woman’s social media account and “posted photos of her and illicit photos of other people,” Ridgewood Police Chief Jaqueline Luthcke said Monday. Prospect Park detectives cracked a series of burglaries, arresting two self-proclaimed Trinitario gang members who they said stole more than $167,000 in jewelry, cash, watches, electronics – and guns. Detective Walter Richmond and Officer Arthur Canestrino were reviewing surveillance footage from a burglary last Friday when they identified a car whose owner said a 17-year-old Passaic boy had been using it at the time. Undercover Oxy Buys Lead To Arrest Of Rutherford Delivery Driver, 61
RUTHERFORD, N.J. – A Rutherford delivery driver delivered Oxycodone pills to an undercover Bergen County prosecutor’s detective three separate times, leading to his arrest, authorities said. Investigators made the buys after learning in November that Steven Lanza, 61, was dealing the prescribed painkiller, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said. They arrested him Tuesday on drug distribution charges after the third buy, records show. Lanza was released pending an April 4 first appearance in Central Judicial Municipal Court in Hackensack.

GLEN ROCK, N.J. – Glen Rock police charged a now-former employee at Kilroy’s Wonder Market with stealing nearly $12,000 from the business through bogus transactions at the register, authorities said. Prosecutor: Maywood DWI Driver Charged After Leaving Passenger Critical
MAYWOOD, N.J. – A Maywood welder who crashed his hatchback into two utility poles and a tree before dawn Wednesday, leaving his passenger near death, was charged with assault by auto and DWI, authorities said. The crash occurred exactly a year to the day that 21-year-old Benjamin Scarpulla lost his mother, Deirdre Scarpulla, 47, to cancer.
