Coast Guard Suspends Search For Missing Kayaker In NJ Waters The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for a missing kayaker off Keyport in Raritan Bay, authorities said. The search was suspended at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24. The search for Zhenjiang Ding, 74, began after his kayak began taking on water Monday afternoon, the Coast Guard said. The Coast Guard said it searched approximately 129 square nautical miles for over 37 search hours, with no signs of Ding.
