Married Deli Owners Taking Over Popular Bergen County Bar Have Message For Longtime Customers
It took months for Anabella Sol Cavagliato and Jorge Mora to gain the trust of patrons after opening In The Drink.
It was 2017 and the bar and restaurant at Preakness Valley Golf Course in Wayne had long been owned and operated by someone else.
The customers were skeptical of change. They didn't like it, at first. They didn't want it, said Cavagliato, 41, and Mora, 47, of Bogota.
But over time, the customers warmed up to the new atmosphere, fare, and drinks. These days, In The Drink is thriving.

American Dream: Pizza Chefs From Italy Open Bergenfield Restaurant
Five immigrants, three of whom are pizza chefs from Italy, have opened a Bergen County restaurant in pursuit of the American Dream.
Culto Italiano, or the Italian vibe, opened on Dec. 1 at 49 W. Church Street in Bergenfield.The three pizza chefs are 31-year-old Corrado Cervelli, 23-year-old Angelo Riccio, Gianni Massaro. The other two owners are Tammy Castellanos and her husband, Ariel Castellanos, of Rutherford.

Cause Of Death Revealed For Grant Wahl
After his brother backtracked suspicions of foul play in his death, Grant Wahl's wife announced the true cause on Wednesday, Dec. 14.
Wahl, the Princeton University grad who died in his seat while covering the World Cup in Qatar, suffered an aortic aneurysm, his wife, Celine Grounder, said on “CBS Mornings."
“It’s just one of those things that had been likely brewing for years,” she said.
Wahl was covering the Argentina quarterfinal win over the Netherlands when he collapsed, falling back in his seat on Friday, Dec. 9, US reporters said. He was rushed to a local hospital, and died.

Eerie Video Footage Shows Final Moments Inside NJ Helicopter Before Crash
Footage taken from the inside of a New Jersey helicopter captures the final moments of the victims' lives before crashing in the East River Sunday.
The video was posted by Trevor Cadigan of Dallas, Texas, on Instagram. The 26-year-old was one of the five passengers pronounced dead, the New York Post reports.
Other victims were identified as Tristan Hill, 30 of NYC; Daniel Thompson, 34 of NYC; Brian McDaniel, 26 of Dallas, Texas; and Carla Vallejos-Blanco, 29 of Argentina, the story says.
The only survivor was pilot Richard Vance of Danbury, Conn.
