Girl, 9, Burned By Instant Noodles Airlifted To Hospital, Garfield Police Say A 9-year-old girl was airlifted to an Essex County hospital after being burned by a hot cup of instant noodles in Bergen County on Monday, Sept. 30. Garfield officers and Hackensack University Medical Center EMS and paramedics were called to a home on Outwater Lane at approximately 3:25 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, where the girl had suffered burns on her stomach, arm, and groin, Capt.
